We often are asked what our influences are. Here are a few of our favorite You Tube videos to help answer that question.

Tommy Emmanuel - Mombasa

Tommy Emmanuel is a two-time Grammy nominee. His professional career has spanned over 40 years and continues to intersect with some of the finest musicians throughout the world. A household name in his native Australia, Tommy has garnered hundreds of thousands of loyal fans worldwide. Tommy's unique style, commonly referred to as "fingerstyle" - is akin to playing guitar the way a pianist plays piano, using all ten fingers.  (www.TommyEmmanuel.com)

 Pete Huttlinger Playing Sunny

Pete was the 2000 National Fingerpick Guitar Championship. He has been featured on the cover of Fingerstyle Guitar twice, and has been profiled in Guitar Player, Acoustic Guitar, Vintage Guitar and Guitar World Acoustic.  Peers consider Huttlinger one of today’s finest fingerstyle guitarists.

Acoustic Alchemy - The Beautiful Game

The hallmark steel string nylon string guitar combination of Acoustic Alchemy has been around now for eighteen years and over 15 albums. Their style is best labeled as smooth jazz yet, although their signature sound has remained, the music has continued to evolve in different, sometimes unexpected, but always delightful directions.  Larry Carlton - Smiles and Smiles To Go

Carlton's studio credits from the 1970s and early 1980s include musicians and groups like Steely Dan, Joni Mitchell, Michael Jackson, Sammy Davis Jr., Herb Alpert, Quincy Jones, Bobby Bland, Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt and literally dozens of others.

Whether playing acoustic or electric guitar Larry Carlton is one of the best ever. (www.LarryCarlton.com)

Chet Atkins - Performing Vincent(Starry Starry Night)

Without Chet Atkins, "Mister Guitar", country music may never have crossed over into the pop charts in the 1950s and 1960s.  During the 1950s and 1960s, he helped create the Nashville sound, a style of country music that owed nearly as much to pop as it did to honky tonks. As a guitarist, he is without parallel.  No one man has had more influence on the guitar than Chet. (www.MisterGuitar.com)
